(1) UV-Licht absorbierende Kontaktlinsen stellen keinen Ersatz für Sonnenbrillen oder Masken mit UV-Schutz dar,weil sie das Auge und den Bereich um das Auge herum nicht vollständig abdecken. Kontaktlinsenträger sollten weiterhin UV-Licht absorbierende Brillen verwenden, wann immer dies empfehlenswert ist.
